How to Attract the Relationship You Deserve: Overcoming Limiting Beliefs

In the pursuit of love, fulfillment and attracting the RIGHT relationship that we deserve, it's essential to recognise the power of your beliefs and their influence on the relationships you attract. Recently, one of my clients embarked on a journey of self-discovery, shedding light on attracting the right partner while battling internal obstacles of self doubt, and the feeling of 'not deserving'.

Picture this: My client D, buoyed by newfound confidence and self-worth in her professional endeavors, encounters a daunting question from me about her desired relationship.

Despite her strides in personal growth, she finds herself grappling with deep-seated fears and doubts when envisioning a healthy, fulfilling partnership.

The reluctance to acknowledge her desires stems from past experiences, where she felt unworthy of love and acceptance, which stemmed from trauma in her past relationship. These lingering beliefs manifest as barriers, sabotaging her chances of welcoming the kind of relationship she truly deserves.

In her journey, she realises a crucial truth: self-worth is the cornerstone of all aspects of life, including relationships. Addressing these limiting beliefs becomes paramount, paving the way for a transformative shift in her mindset.

As she finally delves into the task I set her in identifying her relationship aspirations, she confronts the beliefs holding her back. The key lies in unraveling the layers of self-doubt and insecurity, allowing her to cultivate a genuine belief in her worthiness of love and respect.

Getting crystal clear about what she desires from a partner becomes her compass, guiding her towards a future filled with authenticity and fulfillment. By acknowledging and dismantling her limiting beliefs, she opens herself to the possibility of attracting a relationship that aligns with her deepest desires.

She hadnt even considered dating again until we started working together her mind was so closed off from it. But during her journey with me, shifting her beliefs and working on her mindset, she felt a new profound confidence to start dating.

Within just a few short weeks she has met someone who appears to be pretty special!

For anyone seeking their ideal partner, the journey begins with shifting your past negative beliefs around partners/ relationships, learning to shift your mindset, cultivating self love and accepatance and gaining clarity on what it is you would like to bring in.

How do you do that?

Define what you want from a relationship, down to the smallest detail. How do you envision your partner treating you? How do they make you feel? What do you envision doing together? Visualise it, and put your hands on your heart and truly connect in with what you would like to bring into your life.

However, clarity & visualisation alone is not enough.

It must be accompanied by a fundamental question: do you believe you are worthy of receiving such love and respect?

This introspection unveils the subconscious beliefs that may be hindering your path to fulfillment.

Recognize and challenge these beliefs with compassion and courage. By addressing them head-on, you pave the way for a transformative shift, creating space for the relationship you truly deserve.

Remember, you ARE deserving of love in its purest form. Don't let your limiting beliefs dictate otherwise. Embrace your Worthiness, and watch as the right relationship unfolds, bringing with it the fulfillment and happiness you deserve. ❣️

The Importance of Self-Love: A Guide to Embracing Yourself

Do the words 'self-love' make you feel uncomfortable?

Do you think it's not important or even selfish to love yourself and prioritise your own needs?

Self-love and acceptance are crucial for your well-being and overall quality of life. It's not about boosting your ego or indulging in pampering; it's about nurturing a healthy relationship with yourself.

Here's how a lack of self-love and internal feelings of low self-worth might be affecting you:

Struggling with Boundaries: You feel guilty saying no to others and lack boundaries within your relationships. You constantly overgive, doing things you don't want to do, which leaves you feeling overwhelmed and burnt out.

You have little time for yourself because you are prioritising others needs before your own, such as your personal or professional goals.

Undervaluing Yourself: You undercharge for your services because you feel guilty charging more. Perhaps you have trouble asking people for money or don't believe you deserve to charge higher rates, even though you've invested time and money in your skills and knowledge.

Seeking Unhealthy Coping Mechanisms: You struggle to find joy and fulfillment in life, resorting to behaviors that are harmful or self-destructive as a way to cope with feelings of emptiness or unworthiness.

If any of this sounds familiar, here are three things you can start doing today to improve your relationship with yourself and embrace self-love:

Visualize Your Ideal Life: Imagine what your life could look like if you fully embraced self-love. Picture yourself as your own best friend, someone you can trust and honor. Someone you feel proud of when you look in the mirror

Envision yourself confidently saying no to things you don't want to do and charging what you're worth for your services. Imagine indulging in healthy habits that leave you feeling rejuvenated and fulfilled.

Now how would it feel to being that women into your reality?

Challenge Negative Thoughts: Become aware of any negative thoughts or beliefs that arise as you imagine your ideal life.

Write them down and then write down the opposite to make the sentance a positive affirmation.

For example, if you think, "I'm not worthy of charging more,"

counter it with, "I am worthy of charging for my skills and services."

" I am stupid" to "I am getting smarter & wiser by the day"

Challenge beliefs like, "I'm being selfish when I say no to people," by affirming,

"I fully honor and respect my personal boundaries, and it's safe for me to say no."

Release Negative Emotions: Acknowledge any negative emotions, such as guilt or shame, that arise as you challenge these beliefs. Tell yourself that you're ready to release these feelings because they serve no purpose. Instead, choose to love and honor yourself.

Embracing self-love isn't always easy, but it's essential for your well-being snd mental health.

Start by taking small steps to prioritise yourself and cultivate a deeper connection with who you are. You deserve to love yourself fully and unconditionally.

Take simple and practical steps to look after yourself too such as take a long relaxing bath, whilst speaking positively to yourself, go over in your head all the thing you have done you can feel proud of yourself for for that day.

Go for a walk in nature

or get a coffee and treat with an old friend or someone who inspires you and supports you.
